SBIG
Plug-ins |
Update of all SBIG (Parallel)
Plug-ins. These should be replaced even for users of other cameras. Updates
to CCDOPS, Maxim, and other programs are installing later versions of the SBIG universal
drivers which are not compatible with previous releases of those drivers. The new
plug-ins will work with any v4 level SBIG driver. |

ASCOM
Interface for PCFocus |
This is a complete ASCOM
Interface for PCFocus. It is availablke as part of the ASCOM Platform 2.2 release
and installs automatically with the Platform installation If
manually installing: Copy the dll to your FocusAide installation folder and register
it with the operating system
The ASCOM portion is self-registering into the ASCOM registry
area but you must register the automation object with the operating system. Until an
installer is made the easiest way to do this is to locate regsvr32.exe on your system,
create a shortcut to it, and drag the dll residing in your FocusAide folder and drop
it on regsvr32 shortcut. |

FRCalc.zip |
This utility is used for
determing the effective focal length of an optical setup using an image of an object to
derive the data. Enter the angular separation of two stars in the image (using a
planetaruim program like TheSky or SkyMap) along with the pixel coordinates of the same
two stars from an image and the focal length and focal ratio will be calculated.
Camera pixel dimensions in microns and the aperture of the telescope in mm are also
required. |
